The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger review by Rosie F.

Do you like books with little twists turns, unexpected events, or just flat out romance? If so, The Time Travelers Wife would be a great book for you to read. This book had me at “It’s hard being left behind”. The Time Travelers Wife is a book that has romance, and a bit of drama here and there. But that’s what makes it so interesting and keeps you hooked on.

First, the setting in this book is everywhere; all over the world he does not have a stable place that he stays. Since Henry time travels to different places at different times unexpectedly. Most of it takes place at their home. Some of the book takes place at the “meadow” where Clare always has clothes for Henry cause when he time travels he can’t take anything with him; not even his wallet.

Henry and Clare are why I am in love with book and why it has become one of my favorite books. The tension between them, and how deeply they are in love with each other never gets old. Clare has known Henry since she was six, and has been in love with him ever since. Henry has his moments were he is a total jerk sometimes, but that just makes the book more intense and makes you never want to put the book down. Henry can be a jerk by the things he says, or does or even acts like to Clare.

And lastly, everything that happens in this book is just magnificent. Henry randomly time travels, but can’t stop it even if he wanted to. He doesn’t know how he got this “gift” of his. Sometimes it brings him down, but he tries for it not to. There is a huge unexpected turn towards the end of the book I never saw it coming and if you read it also I believe you wont see it coming also. Even thought that twist is there it just makes this book even more glorious.

  2. This book seems like an interesting book, and I think I'm going to read it when I get the chance. The way you described Clare's love for Henry is just one of the many things in this review that have made me really want to read this book. Becca V.
