Sum of All Fears by Tom Clancy reviewed by Austyn E,

Have you read a book that kept you wanting to read more and more? Some people might say that just a good story line will keep you interested. I think that a story must have suspense and cliffhangers to keep a reader interested. In the Book Sum of All Fears written by Tom Clancy you will fin plenty of both to keep you guessing what happens next. That is what you want out of a fictional book is too be interesting.
The story takes place in a lot of different places that have many contrasts to each other. It first starts out at a dessert in Israel on a bright sunny day with a camouflaged jet streaking across the sky then story than takes a swing to the United States of America in the city of Baltimore. For the next setting the book switches from Moscow, Russia and Baltimore, United Sates. Later in the book the reader takes a trip to the cold snowy region of Siberia.
One of the most important characters named John that lives in Baltimore and has a fiancé that works at the hospital. John works for the CIA but can only tell people he is a Historian. He is suddenly asked to make sure the Russians are getting rid of their nuclear arsenal. He travels there with another group of agents to Siberia and finds that bomb experts are missing. In the next part of the book John races to find the bomb technicians to advert nuclear war.
And eventually learn of a man pulling the strings and trying to complete what Hitler started. To conquer the world by getting rid of Russia and the United States.
The story Sum of All Fears is full of characters and antagonist with a lot of mystery and suspense. With this story every reader will keep guessing until the very end of the book. However I don’t really recommend the book because it is very long and is very confusing. If you have time it is very interesting however.

  2. This book seems really breathtaking. I have read lots of Tom Clancy books before and this seems highly interesting. The plot you described seems like a book I would like to read. In the review you defined the book as complicated and confusing and I am always looking for a challenge. Good job on the review.
