Have you ever read a book that you liked so much that each chapter you just want to read to the next chapter? Some might say no. While others would just start naming off books that they’ve read. The book The Faerie Door was a mystery what was going to happen next, making it very good to read.
In the book The Faerie Door written by B.E. Maxwell the setting differs. Elliot is a boy that lives in New York near the nineteen sixties. Victoria is a girl that lives around the eighteen nineties. Elliot is a poor boy in the poor neibor hood of New York. Victoria lives in the richest family with a huge mantion. Then they switch in and out of faerie land. Faerie land is a magical land you have to teleport to get there. The land consists of Good Faeries and Bad Faeries. There are castles and war zones. Mystical forests and creepy swamps.
In the story Elliot and Victoria are the main characters. Elliot is afraid of almost every thing and he is very quiet. Victoria makes up for that however. She is very out going an brave there is nothing out there she cant face. Victoria is a very likeable character in making the story more enjoyable
The plot of the story is very interesting. In the faerie world the Bad Faeries have decided to take the passageway to our world and use our wepons agenst us. So the Good Faeries put rings in our world the rings open a door to the Faerie Door, which opens a door to Faerie Land, and Elliot and Victoria both find one.
I would recommend this book to people that enjoy fiction and suspense.
